Zephaniah Micah Terry, a remarkable individual, was born on April 19th, 1995, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Marsha and Jack Terry. From the moment of his birth, he has consistently overcome numerous obstacles, beginning with the challenges he faced due to brain damage, which occurred on the day of the Oklahoma City bombing in Oklahoma.
At the tender age of three, Zephaniah and his family relocated to Marietta, Georgia. His mother, Marsha Terry, recognized his exceptional personality and warm smile, and subsequently involved him in modeling and small commercial acting. However, due to concerns about his future, she ultimately withdrew him from the industry after a year.
Throughout his childhood, Zephaniah spent a significant amount of time daydreaming and creating imaginative scenes, both indoors and outdoors. He was also highly active, exceling in various pursuits, including playing the full drum set, boxing, and participating in his high school swim team at Sprayberry High School. His impressive performance led to him being selected for the national swim club team at Valdosta State, where he became the only African American to compete in the National Club Championships in 2014.
Despite facing numerous challenges and life lessons, Zephaniah decided to revisit his passion for acting and modeling. In 2016, he participated in the national Barbrizon Acting and Modeling Search Competition at the Hyatt Hotel in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. He made history by becoming the first African American male to win the adult division, impressing judges with his commanding runway presence and creative wit during his commercial and scene delivery.
Since dedicating himself to his craft, Zephaniah has built an impressive resume, appearing in several TV shows, leading in numerous short films, indie films, show pilots, and performing and directing small theatrical plays. His warm connection with those he meets, combined with his unwavering drive to learn and succeed, has earned him the nickname "Young Bull." There is no doubt that we will see him achieve great things in the future.
Zephaniah was raised in Marietta and Atlanta, Georgia, by his mother, Marsha Terry, and father, Jack Terry. He has two brothers on his father's side. Through his positivity and determination, he continues to inspire his peers, the city of Atlanta, and anyone with the will to become better every day.
