Petru, a drilling engineer, is torn between his impending marriage to his pregnant girlfriend Laura and his secret affair with Sonia, the wife of a colleague who's suffering from a work accident. As his new life begins, Sonia's feels like it's ending. Despite feeling indebted to Sonia, Petru's responsibility towards his unborn child pulls him towards Laura.
