In the midst of Spain's transition from dictatorship to democracy, a 16-year-old girl named Begoña lives with her family in the city of Vitoria. She becomes involved with a group of young revolutionaries who are fighting for workers' rights, and her life becomes increasingly complicated as her family's secrets and lies are revealed. Meanwhile, her father, a journalist, is forced to compromise his values in order to advance his career.
