Maddy, a single mother and hotel management staff member, takes a vacation to Park City, Utah with her preteen son Wesley to spend Christmas with her father, Charles, who owns an upscale ski resort. They meet Paul, a widowed ski and snowboard shop owner, and his shy son Cody. As Maddy and Paul grow closer, they face an obstacle when they discover that Wesley and Cody are biological brothers, a secret that Paul has yet to reveal to Cody.
