Margot, a realtor, and Griffin, a lawyer, live in similar homes with similar addresses. They coincidentally meet at a restaurant, where both try to propose to their respective partners. However, their proposals go awry, and Griffin accidentally ends up at Margot's apartment, where he falls asleep in her bed. Margot convinces Griffin to accompany her to her sister's wedding, and they become friends with an older couple along the way. Despite initial complications, Griffin becomes an unexpected hit at the wedding, but the real Kip's arrival ruins the charade.
