Bunty refuses to marry his girlfriend, Tanya, due to his parents' constant bickering. He meets her eccentric grandfather, who has invented a time-travel machine. Bunty travels back to 1975, when he meets his younger parents and discovers his father was a wimp and his mother a tomboy. He tries to fix his parents' relationship and also the feud between his grandparents, while dealing with the chaos of the time period.
