In the 1840s, Greg Thurston seeks to build his own empire in the American West. To achieve this, he requires rifles to distribute to the Native American tribes. However, Monte Hale thwarts his plans by intercepting the supply train. Thurston eventually acquires the rifles by robbing a warehouse, but Monte becomes suspicious of his intentions. As Thurston prepares for his final major assault, Monte follows him, only to be caught off guard and captured by Thurston just as the attack commences.
