Acute Flaccid Myelitis (AFM) is a rare polio-like disease that has ravaged the bodies of over 500 children in the US, most under the age of 7, with no cure or clear understanding of its cause. Despite being diagnosed with AFM at 17, Grace Fisher, a gifted musician, was able to overcome her condition and become a renowned composer, creating sublime musical scores for full orchestras.
