Argentine Nights background

Argentine Nights

The film follows an all-girl band as they leave their financial troubles behind and travel to Argentina, where they embark on a journey of self-discovery, creativity, and thrilling escapades.

Three variety promoters, Al, Harry, and Jimmy, flee New York after a scheme goes awry and stow away on a boat headed to Argentina for a performance. There, they team up with the performers, Bonnie, Maxene, Patty, and Laverne, to help the hotel owners, Mama and Papa Viejos, in trouble, while Bonnie becomes infatuated with a wealthy polo player who she mistakenly identifies as El Tigre, a notorious local bandit.
