In World War II, a wounded Soviet tank driver and mechanic, suffering from amnesia and severe burns, is secretly convinced he can communicate with tanks as if they were human. After returning to duty, he proves to be a skilled tank operator. Rumors circulate about a Nazi tank, the White Tiger, which appears mysteriously on the battlefield, destroying Soviet tanks. Determined to avenge his own destroyed tank, Naydenov is ordered to find and destroy the elusive White Tiger.
