A ruthless mob assassin, Jayne Ferré, is on the run with a million dollars in blood money, while a 16-year-old boy, Kerry, is fleeing a drug dealer. They team up with Kerry's mother, Emily, and embark on a journey to Texas, but their car breaks down and they check into a motel. Kerry steals the briefcase, and Jayne must fight off Bianci's men and then the FBI to get it back. In the end, a deadly standoff ensues between Jayne, Emily, and the various parties involved in a game of wits to stay alive.
