Binti, a 12-year-old girl, lives with her father in Belgium despite lacking legal documents. She dreams of becoming a famous vlogger. Elias, 11, runs a club to save okapis and is upset when his father leaves for Brazil after his parents' divorce. Binti and Elias meet when their parents' lives intersect, and Binti sees an opportunity to solve her problems by matchmaking her father with Elias' mother. She joins Elias' club and secretly works to make Christine fall in love with Jovial, but Elias soon discovers her plan.
