Sister Clodagh, the youngest Sister Superior in the Order of the Servants of Mary, is appointed to lead a new convent in the Himalayas. She and four other nuns, each with their unique skills, move into the Palace of Mopu, a former palace donated by General Todo Rai. The convent's mission is to provide education and medical services to the local community. The sisters face various challenges, including cultural differences, isolation, and personal struggles. Sister Clodagh's leadership is tested as she navigates her new role, while Sister Ruth's growing obsession with Mr. Dean, the convent's liaison, threatens to disrupt the community.
