Four employees of Krielsen International oil company, including Mark Unwin, are captured by militant group MEND in Nigeria. Mark's wife Claire and Alice Onuko, a PR representative for Krielsen, fly to Port Harcourt to negotiate a ransom. However, when they arrive, they find the bodies of Mark and his coworkers, and are told by a journalist that they were killed by the Nigerian government after being released by MEND.
