A newlywed couple, Christine and Barry, buy a fixer-upper home in a small town, hoping to start anew after Christine's recent breakdown. Unbeknownst to Christine, Barry is having an affair with her sister, Lisa, who's delighted by the thrill of being discovered. When they discover a mysterious room in the basement, they're drawn in by the supernatural aura surrounding it. As the body count rises, Christine and a locksmith team up to stop the killings, but it's unclear what's real and what's just Christine's paranoid hallucination.
