Two friends, a writer and his publisher, find the perfect location in Italy to shoot photographs for a horror novel. They break into a deserted castle, only to discover it's actually occupied by a former actor who's initially annoyed by their presence. However, when he recognizes his ex-fiancée among the group, he agrees to let them use the castle, but warns them to stay away from the dungeons.
