Chang: A Drama of the Wilderness

The movie vividly depicts the rich cultural heritage and breathtaking natural beauty of Northern Siam's lush jungles.

A pioneer, Kru, lives deep in the jungle of northern Siam, where he faces problems with leopard and tiger attacks. He sets traps and kills the predators, but soon finds himself confronted with a baby elephant caught in one of his traps. Believing he can tame it, he tethers the elephant to a post under his stilted house. However, the mother elephant returns, destroying his home. Kru and his family flee to the village, only to find a massive herd of elephants descending upon the settlement, leveling buildings. The villagers must band together to fight back against the sudden invasion.
