A slave ship sinks in a storm, leaving Robinson Crusoe as the sole survivor. He washes up on a tropical island with his dog Scamp and a flock of geese. Crusoe soon discovers the island is visited by a nearby tribe of cannibals. He rescues one of their intended sacrifices, Lucky, but refuses to share his cave with the other man. After Lucky's death, Crusoe befriends a stranded cannibal and they plan to escape. However, a European ship arrives, and Crusoe realizes they intend to capture his friend rather than rescue them.
