A tormented individual, Maxwell, struggles with inner demons and is tempted by the lord of the flies, Beelzebub, to end his chaos through suicide. However, he finds refuge with the Fishers, Emma and Lester, and a series of evil events unfolds, putting Max and those trying to help him in a desperate battle against Satan.
