Dixie Dugan
Wealthy businessman Roger Hudson, who has taken a reduced government salary, rushes to a radio broadcast to encourage women to participate in the war effort, but his tardiness is foiled by a cab driven by determined Dixie Dugan, a woman eager to contribute to the war effort as a taxi driver.
