In 1969 Denmark, a 13-year-old boy named Frits is brutally punished by his school principal, Svendsen, after being caught in the girls' locker room. The incident sparks a chain reaction as parents, colleagues, and classmates are shocked and affected. Despite the police downplaying the incident as a "school matter", Frits' parents are determined to take action against the abusive principal, with the help of a young hippie teacher and his classmates.
