Elizabeth, a newlywed, is welcomed to her husband Henry's grand estate, where she's treated to opulent dinners and a lavish tour. However, she can't shake the feeling that something is amiss, as the staff, Claire and Oliver, seem to treat her differently. Henry reassures her that everything belongs to her, but forbids her from entering a locked room. When he leaves for business, Elizabeth decides to investigate the mysterious room.
