Gary Frank, an ordinary insurance salesman, discovers that a specific tower block, Lincoln, is off-limits to outsiders, as it's owned by a hostile group of vampires who will stop at nothing to keep intruders out. After a chance encounter with a child gang member, Gary is marked for death by the vampires' leader, The Count. With no way down from the top floor, Gary must rely on a motley crew of strangers, including a telephone repairman, a wheelchair-bound Vietnam vet, an elderly resident, and a teenage girl, to survive the night and evade the vampires.
