In the deserted mining town of Darwin, a getaway driver named Chooch is stranded with a broken car and a bag of stolen money. He's picked up by a psychopath named J.T. who murders Chooch and leaves behind clues. The real tension arises from the affair between J.T. and Rebecca O'Grady, Archie's girlfriend, who hopes J.T. will help her escape. When a stranger arrives in search of the stolen money, he must navigate the lawless town and bring its inhabitants to justice before leaving.
