In this animated TV special, a young hunter named Oisin is on a hunt with his family when he strays away to help a beautiful fairy princess whose father, the fairy king, has accidentally brought his shadow to life. The shadow has become strong enough to wreak havoc on the fairy land, preparing trolls, witches, and other creatures to take over and bring eternal night. Oisin teams up with the king's assistant, Puck, to stop the shadow and find its dark castle, but it won't be an easy task.
