A curious teenager named Alan stumbles upon an open storm sewer and invites his friend Eric to explore it with him, hoping to find something exciting. Despite their initial excitement, they soon find a dirt-filled hole and decide to leave, but not before Eric accidentally leaves his backpack behind. The disagreement that ensues leads Eric to return to the sewer alone, and when he fails to reappear, Alan follows him, only to encounter a mysterious and terrifying presence.
