In this comedy, George Brown, a hapless and accident-prone individual, is initially rejected from the Home Guard due to his inability to distinguish left from right. However, when a friend in the RAF forgets crucial documents, George puts on a uniform and delivers them to the base, where he's mistakenly identified as a dispatch rider. He soon discovers it's easier to get in than out of the air force, but finds a silver lining when he meets the Sergeant Major's lovely daughter.
