In this coming-of-age story, a young student named Jaime meets Monty, a charismatic and open-minded individual, at a bookstore in a new city. Monty becomes Jaime's guide and conscience as he navigates a journey of self-discovery and exploration. After a stint in jail, Jaime befriends his former rival, Hal, and together they venture into the world of the sexual fringe, trying out various lifestyles and gimmicks. Along the way, they encounter experts, attend parties, and even try to pick up strangers. However, their newfound freedom is threatened when Jaime's coworker and homophobe, Ray, seeks to ruin his life. In a dramatic climax, Jaime exacts revenge on Ray in a physical fight, emerging victorious and empowered.
