In 1865, a telegraph line's construction is threatened by George Crane, a rogue individual intent on maintaining lawlessness in the region.

In 1865, the telegraph is expanding westward, but George Crane wants to halt its progress to maintain his territory's lawlessness. Meanwhile, Ken Mason, the grandson of Don Diego Vega, also known as Zorro, is leading the construction effort. As Crane sends his men and Native Americans to sabotage the work, Mason dons the Zorro costume to defend the project in this 12-part serial.
