Three army veterans return from service, only to discover their fiancées have left them due to lack of housing. The trio faces numerous challenges in finding a new home, ultimately settling for a vacant lot. However, their makeshift residence is destroyed by a farmer's tractor. Undeterred, they build their own house, only to have their girlfriends reject their humble abode and abandon them.
