Schoolboy Jack's grandfather, a former Battle of Britain pilot, is struggling with Alzheimer's disease and is mistreated at a retirement home run by the cruel Miss Dandy. When Jack's family visits, he discovers Miss Dandy's plan to swindle the residents and decides to take action with the help of his sister and her boyfriend to free his grandfather and the other residents.
