Florence, a considerate and sweet 25-year-old, is a personal assistant to an L.A. family on vacation. When her boss's brother, Roger, a 40-year-old carpenter, arrives from New York City to take care of the house, Florence is tasked with helping him navigate his responsibilities, including caring for the family's dog. With a history of past relationships and a tendency to over-analyze and struggle with self-laughter, Roger must confront his past and present as he tries to find his place in the world. Meanwhile, Florence must decide whether Roger is just another responsibility or something more.
