After his brother's murder, Whip Wilson assumes a new identity to track down the suspects, a group of outlaws led by the Rankin brothers, who are trying to seize control of their late uncle's ranch. Whip's search leads him to an old saddle bum, Trigger Winks, who is posing as a brother of the ranch owner. With the help of a kind-hearted woman, Marie Martel, Whip and Winks join forces to foil the Rankin brothers' plans and reclaim the ranch.
