A young boy named Henry is forced to live with his cruel and greedy uncle, Augustus, after his parents go missing in Africa. However, Henry soon discovers that he is not alone in the house, as tiny elf-like creatures called the Littles live in its crevices. The Littles, including Tom and Lucy, and their grandfather, Grandpa Little, befriend Henry and help him in his quest to stop Augustus' evil plans to tear down the house and build a shopping center. Along the way, Henry and the Littles have many exciting adventures, and eventually, they gather evidence to expose Augustus' scheme. In the end, justice is served, and Henry's home is saved.
