In the early 20th century, a sumptuous Parisian brothel emerges as a hub of extravagance, subjugation, and despair.

Set in a luxurious Parisian brothel in the early 20th century, the film explores the lives of the women who inhabit it, struggling to balance their expenses with their meager earnings, and facing numerous challenges including pregnancy, addiction, and violence. Despite the hardships, the women form strong bonds with one another, and occasionally, romantic relationships with their clients. As the madam navigates a dispute with her landlord, the women are forced to confront their own mortality and the uncertainty of their futures.
