Set in NYC, Carefree Somalia is a young woman living her best life: she's in a relationship with a musician, pursuing a fashion design degree, has her own place, and a vibrant social circle. However, a recurring issue threatens to derail her relationship with her boyfriend, Zavier, as their personal experiences become public. The film highlights the importance of integration between the hearing and Deaf communities, as well as other cultures, by addressing communication barriers and stereotypes.
