Walter Williams, a successful businessman, is on his way to Denver to take over three new factories when his wife Irene's lover, Jim, tries to kill him. Walter survives the accident, but Jim dies, and Irene is accused of plotting his murder. Walter, badly injured, falls asleep in a moving van and wakes up in a small town in Idaho, where he is hired as a mechanic.
