A film crew from American International Pictures is shooting a low-budget action movie in the Alabama woods. The director, Ben Adams, faces budget issues and a hot-headed producer threatening to shut down the project. Meanwhile, the lead actress, Jodi Marshall, navigates her feelings for Ben, her co-star's advances, and the chaos unfolding around her. Suddenly, a group of heavily armed soldiers, led by a former Special Forces officer, parachute into the area, planning to take the city hostage and silence the film crew to prevent them from warning authorities. The crew must use their wits and prop guns to take on the invaders.
