Land background

Land

A group of American entrepreneurs venture into Nicaragua, facing fierce opposition from the local community.

In Nicaragua, American developers target the west coast, seeking to build a tourist haven. With weak regulations, some exploit the situation, sparking accusations of exploitation and land theft from local fishermen. The Sandinistas' return to power, led by Daniel Ortega, surprisingly empowers the fishermen, turning the tables on the American developers. However, as the fishermen gain power, they begin to act similarly, raising questions about human nature, morality, and ethics on a grand scale.
