As Jimmy serves a 12-year prison sentence for an armed robbery gone wrong, he sees an opportunity to escape when he's transferred to a prison with a vulnerable outer wall. He convinces the governor to produce a musical in an old chapel adjacent to the wall, recruiting volunteer actors to help him execute his plan.
