A commissioned TV project honoring Mozart's 200th anniversary, this avant-garde piece combines music, theater, and dance with an original score by Louis Andriessen. Four nude dancers, representing gods, appear on an 18th-century anatomy-inspired stage. A singer lists objects alphabetically up to "M", then the gods create Man from body parts. They give him movement, then music, and finally, create Mozart for perfect harmony.
M Is for Man, Music, Mozart
The film commemorates Mozart's 200th anniversary with a unique score composed by acclaimed Dutch musician Louis Andriessen.
