Mickey Mouse welcomes a new playmate, a baby elephant named Bobo, to keep Pluto company, but Pluto's initial excitement quickly turns to indifference after a brief encounter with the newcomer.

Mickey receives a baby elephant named Bobo as a playmate for Pluto, but their introduction is rocky. Pluto's initial meeting with Bobo's trunk through a fence doesn't go well, and he storms off. However, Bobo becomes fascinated with Pluto's tail and chases after him. As Pluto's mischievous alter ego takes over, he becomes convinced he's being replaced and plots revenge against Bobo with a dash of red pepper.
