A man with autism navigates social interactions with the help of his imaginary friend, Hans, who assists him with scripts to fit in. When he meets a zoologist and her chameleon, he uses one of these scripts to impress her, but things take a unexpected turn when the chameleon dies and she turns to him for emotional support.
