Troy Halverson plays Miles Brimley, a struggling children's entertainer who becomes entangled in a world of crime and torture after his dummy, Mr. Lockjaw, takes control. As Miles' situation worsens, he finds an unlikely ally in Gwyneth, a recovering addict who hopes to escape her painful past with Miles' help. However, their situation is further complicated by the crumbling empire of their employer, Hubaldus Hercolani, and a murder investigation led by Detective Schafley, who is suspicious of Miles as the prime suspect.
