Noboru, a high school student, looks up to popular senior Miyazaki, who has two girlfriends, bright and cheerful Momose, and wealthy and popular Tetsuko. When Miyazaki is caught with Momose, he asks Noboru and Momose to pretend to be a couple to keep his relationship with Tetsuko. As they pretend, Noboru develops feelings for Momose, who remains in love with Miyazaki.
