After a bank heist, a gangster named John Wheeler and his henchmen take refuge in a small apartment, awaiting the rest of the gang's arrival. Unbeknownst to Wheeler, his surgeon and gang member, Dr. Frank Matson, has been secretly plotting against him. Dr. Matson poisons Wheeler and demands the antidote in exchange for his life. Wheeler's girlfriend, Laura, is drawn into the doctor's plan, and together they escape with the stolen loot, leaving Wheeler to find the antidote and exact revenge.
