Photographer Samantha Taylor escapes to a California ranch after her divorce, where she gains the respect of the ranch hands through her riding skills. She falls in love with ranch hand Tate Jordan, but he leaves her after discovering her ex-husband's wealth and fame. Samantha's pain is compounded by a paralyzing accident, but she learns to walk and ride again.
