Platoon Leader

A West Point graduate takes command of a platoon in a Vietnamese trench camp, where he faces cynicism and harsh realities. Despite his initial struggles, he earns respect from his men and superiors after being wounded. Meanwhile, the platoon must navigate the complexities of their relationship with the villagers, who are officially protected but also feared and subject to brutal reprisals.
