A cunning con artist preys on wealthy men, exploiting their wealth and sometimes taking their lives. She sets her sights on a new target, a wealthy man who neglects his daughter, and attempts to marry him. After his death, she makes off with some of his fortune, leaving out his daughter from his will. However, her boyfriend and his daughter soon discover her scheme, and a thrilling cat-and-mouse game ensues as they try to reclaim what they believe is rightfully theirs.
