Alison Crawford, a comfortable family life with her husband Eric and their two children, leads a seemingly normal life despite being blind. She believes her condition is psychosomatic, resulting from a mysterious fall at their second home. Her sister Robin, a free-spirited younger sibling, joins her at their country home, where they're soon joined by Eric and their mutual friend Paul. Unbeknownst to Alison, Eric had a past fling with Robin, who was much younger at the time, before settling down with her. As Alison's memories begin to resurface, she starts to recall the events of the night she lost her sight.
